RAT City Theater Company's 2001 Delaware 10-Minute Play Festival

Hi all --

Just want to let everyone know that we have finally finished
selecting plays for the 2001 Delaware 10-Minute Play Festival.
We got over 400 submissions, about three times as many as other
years, so the process took a lot longer, but we finally have
a full 25-play week-long slate. For those of you from the rat
list, several of the selected playwrights scurry among you. The
festival is July 23-27, Monday through Friday, and it includes
24 playwrights (including two plays from Philadelphia's own Alex
Dremann), 13 directors and 40-50 actors. Selected plays came
from Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland,
Minnesota, Indiana, Texas and California. Submissions came from
as far away as Canada, Great Britain, Norway and Israel.

Wish I had time to type in the entire schedule here, but not
just now. But you can find all the plays on our website (http://www.city-theater.org),
and the entire schedule will be posted within the week.

Hope many of you will get a chance to come down to Wilmington
and check out 25 examples of what is new and fresh in American
theater!
