Re: RAT Politics and Theatre

The question "where is the intersection between theatre and political
activism" is a red herring.

It's not the important question.

The important question is "How can I create an event that is so powerful
and moving that people will be changed by being a member of the audience."

That change that you hope to incite is political, it's social, it's
intellectual, it's emotional, it's an individual response.

There is no one gold answer, nor is there some magic formula.
No matter how much you master the theory of the Viewpoints, you must still
change your view before you can change others.

The tactics you take to create that play will change with the play, the
audience, the times.

Some nights it might not work.

You can only change people one person at a time!
