Read your Clurman. He says if theatre 'succeeds' at even 50%, it is an 
amazing accomplishment, why? Because true communion IS SO bloody hard to 
achieve. Especially when so many other forms of communication Pass As 
communication.
Film is so passive compared to theatre.
Female playwrights in Indonesia are in jail for their writings - there's
