Go Conrad,
Last night I showed up for the third "workshop" for an opera in progress,
the composer, Dwight Andrews, a black preacher with a phd from Yale
on Stravinsky, led as a Bible Study in the church basement, followed by
a singing in the sanctuary.  I, tone deaf atheist, chimed in, as did just
about everyone
in the extremely diverse group united/liberated  by nothing  but
co-breathing the artist's
spirit, persistence, and exquisite music.  peggy
