Re: RAT In support of in-home, in-class, on-line theater

Two questions: Who gets to decide who's "interesting"? Clearly, Cat claims
definitional authority. I wonder if I qualify? I do WAY more theatre than I
see. I don't go to films much. No time. I watch the occasional TV show.
So whip out the chart and let me know if I qualify.

Look. It seems clear to me that theatre is defined as an exchange between
(at least) an actor and an audience member. A web broadcast, even a live
one, is still a broadcast. It's a live performance that is BROADCAST over
the web. So. Why is it SO important to label this theatre? Is there
something wrong with a live broadcast? Because that's what it is, homeslice.

OK. Second question: Why suddenly are so many people signing their emails
with "Cheers"? Not just Cat but like several people a day who email me are
using this. Are all these people drinking at the computer? I'm seriously
curious about this as it seems to have sprung up out of obscurity and into
fashion in no time at all.
