i guess i was reacting to the nastiness of the image of theater (or small 
theater) that you presented in the paragraphs i quoted--  the images of 
theater proposed by you-- images that shocked me a bit. the twin images were 
a slave plantation and a massage parlor (now isn't that a euphemism for a 
brothel or a place to get a fuck). my intention is to ask the question of why 
the nastiness when discussing what is our interest, passion and profession. 
especially when we point our finger at others and not ourselves.
