Who the hell is Cat Hebert? and why does
someone named Cat know so much about kinds of rats?
Jack
I am helping to set the agenda for the RAT Conference in Philadelphia.
And... I am, in fact, familiar with hell -- having gone through
military basic training in Texas in July; having worked with groups of
non-sedated hallucinating psychotics in one of R.D. Laing's cottage systems
in England; having sat through the entire Ring cycle in Frankfurt.
The name "cat" stands for a "secret" animal name (in the Native
American tradition [great-grandmother]). The animal is a creature which both
rats and house cats will try to avoid if possible.
I just stumbled on the rat descriptions, and they seemed to me to be a
nice biological metaphor for the process of different small theaters.
Cheers,
Cat Hebert
