this interests me...not being a "theater person" and
all. i wonder about how the occult had influence. i
know that people like Aphra Behn borrowed from
contemporary rosicrucian ideas and speculations
("emperor of the moon" i think). and clearly
shakespeare had similar leanings. circles of poetry in
england during the 19th century had connections with
the golden dawn society (through people like Yeats).
in film, we have kenneth anger and harry smith (who
overlaps into folk music). i suspect that there is a
lot of overlap that doesn't seem apparent at first
glance.

i don't know...two to three hours total? is that too
much? we can make it shorter or longer if you'd like.
the ritual performance parts themselves won't be too
long...but i'm not temporally oriented. you set a
limit and we'll adhere :)
