Actually, 

it occurs to me that it could even be a viewpoint of directors, and the only 
reason they are all looking the same way is perhaps the bus.

(Perhaps if it were a busload of dramaturgs, a few of them might ask - Do 
they need to be in a bus...?  But that is a whole other grouping.)

I think a scrabble of directors is more apt when they are going to a 
Rat-event. Obviosly it would be a scrabble of RATs going anywhere, and if 
they were going with plenty og=f attitude, well obviously they would have 
been drinking ...
