RAT For Colored Girls

For anybody in the Philly area, we highly recommend you go see "For Colored
Girls Who Have Considered Suicide / When The Rainbow is Enuf"
by Ntozake Shange

If there's such a thing as a modern classic, this is definitely one. And
Theatre Double's beautiful ensemble of women of different ages,
physicalities, and "colors"does a great job with this piece under Michael
LeLand's direction. It's also interesting to note that when the play was
first produced Off-Broadway at The Public Theatre in 1976, Laurie Carlos
was in the cast.

March 18 - April 8
Thursdays - Saturdays 8pm, Sundays 4pm
Theatre Double
1619 Walnut
Philadelphia
tickets: 215-557-9421
