RAT Show

Hello fellow Rats,

As a new Rat, I am just beginning to get into the flow- as the conference
is in Philly, I am excited about what's developing. I have seen a few
posts of current shows, so here is the info on a Philly show in which I
and Frank Ferrara, a fellow Rat, are playing. We're 6/10 of the way
through, but 4 remain- tonight and Thur thru Sat. If you can make it, be
sure to stop by after and tell me you saw it on the list! Thanks.

BecauseHeCan:

Lights up, and a bizarre-looking youth leeringly informs the audience
that he can see into the most intimate details of their lives. Cut to
wealthy Random House editor Joseph Elliot's interrogation by federal
agents in an abandoned New York City warehouse. Enraged Joseph later
recounts the events to his wife Joanne; both are rattled, both baffled.
The cocky youth reappears, gleefully revealing the sophisticated
cyberspace technology which enables him to "go anywhere." The feds
question Joseph again, more aggressively. What in the world is going
on??

I play Joseph, Tina Brock plays Joanne, Frank Ferrara the youth; good,
small cast. Philadelphia premiere.

Short show- ~ 1 ½ hours, no intermission. Tickets $10.

Allens Lane Theater, 215-248-0546, Allens Lane and McCallum Street,
Philadelphia (Mt. Airy section)

Show times all 8 pm except where noted, on March 9, 10, 11 (7 pm), 15,
16, 17, 18 (7), 22,23 24.

It's a dinner theater setup, but with BYOD (& B); people bring everything
from Chinese food to gourmet dinners (good local place with take out is
Goat's Head Tavern, on Mt. Pleasant Ave), with bottles of wine, beer,
your preference. Arrive early!!! 45 min - 1 hour before curtain, or the
seats left will be far left and right with tough sight lines.

DIRECTIONS
>From Rte. 76 (Schuylkill), take Lincoln Drive exit (No. 32). Road is
twisty. As soon as you round a curve and see a yellow diamond sign with
traffic light symbol, turn on right blinker and then TAKE RIGHT FORK
(exiting off Lincoln) onto Rittenhouse St. Go to light, make left onto
Wissahickon and go straight through light, crossing Lincoln. Go through
4 lights and then the road curves sharply (about 1.5 mi from Lincoln),
turning into Allens Lane. After first stop sign, look on left and you'll
see tennis courts coming up. Look for the stone columns just after the
courts and turn left into driveway (just about 2 mi from Lincoln).

>From PA Turnpike, take Norristown exit, and follow Germantown Pike east
through Chestnut Hill neighborhood. Turn right on Allens Lane (WaWa on
corner). Go a few blocks and then cross Lincoln Drive (stop sign), Emlen
Street (light), and McCallum Street (stop). Turn right between stone
columns into driveway.

If you need directions on how to get to either of those highways, just
ask and I'll be glad to help.
