RAT Moving Arts Playreading 3/20
Greetings Fellow RATs,
On Tuesday March 20, Moving Arts will present a reading of I USED TO PLAY
TENNIS, a play by New York playwright John Attanas, directed by Kimberly
Glann.
I USED TO PLAY TENNIS is a black comedy set over four years at an annual
gathering on the final day of a major tennis tournament. On the surface,
everything seems yuppily swell in the lives of Steven and Ellen Patterson
and their affluent circle of friends and family; but gradually we are led
to the ugly underneath as secret love affairs burn and fizzle, hot business
deals go awry, and eccentricity snakes its way to perversion.
The reading of I USED TO PLAY TENNIS will be held at 8:00 pm at Moving
Arts' mainstage at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, 514 South Spring St. in
downtown Los Angeles. There is ample parking in the gated lot at 6th and
Main, just behind the theatre.
Admission is free. A discussion will follow the reading.
Please call for reservations: (213) 622-8906, Box 4 (Literary Dept.)
We hope to see you there!
