political comedy cabaret Living Newspaper in NYC!!!
Morgan Jenness
How are you? How's the baby? How are plans for DEATH OF A HO?
Just to let you know more what I'm up to - trying to mentor this group - you
must come sometime - they'll put you in and make you sing!
Best,
Morgan
YOU ARE INVITED TO A DOT.COM FUNERAL!!!
Hosted by: HUE AND CRY (We Read the News So You Don't Have To)
A celebration of tech high decadence-a time of mourning for the rocking days
of Silicon Alley-a small thank-you for all the free drinks!
Hue & Cry - The Living Newspaper Theater will hold a funeral for the dot com
industry (69 dead since the passing of Pseudo.com on Tuesday, March 13,
2001). Held at the site of former Pseudo.com CEO Josh Harris' infamous New
Year's party quiet, the event will feature a Liturgy In HTML, testimonials
from former dot com employees (can we say...modo.net?), and appropriately
mournful, yet frothy, Ziegfeld Follies-style dance numbers.
Come and raise three cheers to the departing angel-investor venture
capitalist. Whether you are unemployed, temporarily employed, thanking God
you never took that content developer job or conceiving your next visionary
cyber-space business plan while happily living off the $3-5 million left
after you stock options evaporated, don't miss this show!
TUESDAY, MARCH 13
7:30PM
353 Broadway (between Franklin and Leonard in Tribeca, a few blocks below
Canal)

HUE AND CRY (We Read the News So You Don't Have To) THE LIVING NEWSPAPER FOR
THE MILLENNIUM is always looking for more actors, writers, singers,
bleeding-heart liberals, performance artists, jugglers, fire-eaters, deep
thinkings, drinkers, drug-addicts, militant straight edge anarchist vegans,
conservative Republicans, people who hate theater, people who love
performance, and more to come help us create our Living Newspapers.
