RAT Re: Two New Burlesque Shows by Trav S.D.

Trav S.D. and Mountebanks (American Vaudeville Theatre, House of Trash,
Misshapen Jack the Nebraska Hunchback) are proud to announce two burlesque
collaborations in spring 2001. 

+ In March and April, Mountebanks teams up with DMTheatrics (Salome, Amazons
in Chains, Bitch MacBeth) to produce the next in their ongoing series of Ed
Wood, Jr. adaptations Orgy of the Dead. The "plot" concerns a pair of young
lovers (Michael Lester and Christiaan Koop) who crash their car and wind up 
at a
graveyard ruled by the Emporer of the Dead (Robert Pinnock as Criswell) and
Ghoulina (Michele Schlossberg). Directed by camp maestro Frank Cwiklik, this
tawdry vehicle also features Trav S.D. as the narrator; the Wolfman and the
Mummy (Ian W. Hill and Adam Swiderski); and six, count 'em, six "Stopless"
dancers, including Sir Real (late of Now Bar); Allison and Jessica Ward (of
Tex and Trixie's All Girl Revue); Michelle Carlo (a.k.a Carmen Mofongo), and
more, more, more!!! 

    Showtimes: Fridays, March 2, 9,16, 23, 30 & April 6 and 13, 10 p.m.

+ In April, Mountebanks teams up with Pocketfish Productions (Tex and
Trixie's All Girl Revue) to present Just Like Skin, a new burlesque comedy
revue starring Allison Ward as "The Trickster", Jessica Ward as the
Revolutionary Whore, Trav S.D. as The Appalling Weird-O, Robert Pinnock as
Claude the French porn star, Rocket Girl as herself, and Matt Mazurkiwicz as
Guy. Directed by popular downtown comedian Scott Stiffler (Sammy Velvet,
Johnny Clearfield), this vaudevillian musical farce concerns the heir to a
vast underwear fortune and all the wacky characters he meets at a secluded
and seedy hotel. 

    Showtimes: Saturdays, April 7, 14, 21 & 28, 8pm
