7:00 PM - auction of plays & monologues
9:00 PM - commissioned works are performed

New Dramatists' writers are standing by to write you a Valentine's Day love
letter, an audition monologue or even a brand new play!  Come to the New
Dramatists' Writers Benefit, eat, drink and bid to commission a new play from 
a member playwright. Then watch it written and performed right before your 
eyes.
These new works will be written by: Bridget Carpenter, Erik Ehn, Anne
Garcia-Romero, Melissa James Gibson, Karen Hartman, Julie Hébert, David
Lindsay-Abaire, Ruth Margraff, Octavio Solis, Diana Son, Caridad Svich, Mac
Wellman, Doug Wright, and more. (Participants subject to change).  Admission
to this event is $20.  Tickets are available at the door or in advance at
