 The Jackie Factory's A VERY JACKIE CHRISTMAS was born at LaMama in
 1992, returned annually to The Theater at MOTHER from 1996-1999, and
 has found a wonderful new home at The Slipper Room. This year's edition
 A STRIPPER'S CHRISTMAS follows Christmas Eve in a burlesque house, as
 the best and worst of holiday moods infuses the curtain calls and gaudy
 routines. The show is a holiday tradition for New York clubbers and
 has special resonance this year with the displacement of MOTHER's
 extended club family.

 This year's lineup is graced by a trio of "new" performers presenting
 three modern and distinct burlesque traditions: Matthew Barney
 "Cremaster" icon MARTI DOMINATION performing classic fan dance,
 impossible beauty AMANDA LEPORE performing Christmas "illusion" and the
 old-school bombshell BOB, who presents her own burlesque review
 monthly at the SLIPPER ROOM. The program also includes Funny Lady
 JACKIE HOFFMAN ruling the Sophie Tucker references, returning
 luminaries THE BUTOH ROCKETTES (who bring down the house every year
 marrying the post-modern dance form with traditional holiday themes)
 and lovable rascals the DUELLING BANKHEADS.

 Other returning alumni include monologue diva BOBBY MILLER as the
 baggy-pants Comic MC, the puppetry of master BASIL TWIST, drag mama
 SWEETIE, sultry songbird JESSICA RABBIT DOMINATION and for two nights
 DEBBIE HARRY and her chorus boys (including MOTHER's own ROB ROTH.) And
 finally, show director CHI CHI VALENTI (dat's me -empress) will
 perform "A Stripper's Christmas," her 1992 prose-poem that inspired
 this year's theme.

 Like any burlesque house, each week of the show includes several
 FEATURED PERFORMERS. Please note their schedules:
