Bindlestiff Family Cirkus Update

The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus is back in New York City for the winter.  The 
Bindlestiff Family is not performing as a whole in December, though 
individual members can be found performing at Shine, Siren, and a many other 
NY clubs.  New Yorkers can still get there Circus Fix with at least three 
circuses in town--Barnum's Kalidescape, Big Apple Circus, and Australia's 
Circus Oz--, not to mention magicians trapped in blocks of ice.

Just a few quick announcements:

*  Starting in January the Cirkus will be hosting their sixth annual Winter 
Cabaret Season.  If you would like to perform or help out at this years 
cabaret, please let us know.  See below for more details.

*  Seeking Aerialist!  Trapeze, Corde Lisse, Lyre... The Bindlestiff Family 
is seeking an aerialist for the 2001 tours--April to May and/or August to 
October.  Performer must be able to do his/her own rigging in a variety of 
situations and perform at many different heights.  A second act (ground or 
aerial) is a plus.  Please send videos/photos/etc to the address below.

*  We are beginning to schedule the 2001 national tour.  We will most likely 
be following a similar schedule to years past.  Eastern US and Ontario in 
April and May.  Then Western and Midwestern North America in August to 
October.  If you know of events, festivals, venues, etc. in need of a Cirkus 
let us know.

at the Present Company Theatorium, 198 Stanton St (between Attorney and 
Ridge).
Witness an amazing blend of Cirkus, Sideshow and the Burlesque.
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting January 18 through March 10.
