It's cool--I just have seen, actually, a few "spirited" responses in this
conversation that have veered toward personal.  I'm not trying to be
Pollyanna either--it's just that this is such a great list and I want it to
stay that way.  I just got flamed unnecessarily last week in a personal
mailing I sent around by someone that I've known for years--it was an
unncessary personal attack rather than an attempt at dialogue.  So maybe I'm
being overly sensitive about the tone we take with one another when we
disagree over things.  (I'm using "we" as global--not just on this list.)
