RAT New York events

Motti Lerner, the distinguished Israeli playwright and dramaturg, (also a

pioneering force in New Dramatists exchange with the Beit Lessin Theatre in 
Tel Aviv), will be speaking at New Dramatists at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 
7th.

Motti's doing a lecture tour of universities and theatres and is looking

forward to revisiting ND, where he was happily ensconced 5 or 6 seasons ago

as an exchange writer.  He's coming to talk about, and to discuss with the

member playwrights, "Writing Plays in a Political Society," focusing on his

personal experience of writing plays/films that deal with collective traumas

of the Israeli society.
