RAT Independent Eye in Oregon

Dear Friends-

The Independent Eye will be performing on Friday & Saturday
evenings, Nov. 10-11, at C.A.S.T., a theatre in Hood River, OR - not far
from Portland. If you're in the area, we'd love to have you see the show
and meet you afterward.

The show is HITCHHIKING OFF THE MAP, a collection of micro-plays
we've created about journeys that bring about change - including climbing
to the rim of a volcano to meet Pele, falling down the basement stairs,
getting half-way to Yellowstone, freeing a grocery-store lobster,
encountering space aliens on the way to the Seven-Eleven, and other
true-life adventures, all in our "bardic theatre" style.

We've had really wonderful response from every sort of audience -
just had a great audience last night at Juniata College in PA. Visit our
website for more background.

We're also doing workshops on Saturday and Sunday afternoons that
are open to the public. If you're interested, let us know.

And please take seriously that we'd love to meet any and all from
the list.

Right now, getting ready to audition students at Juniata for a show
we're creating here in Jan/Feb during a 5-week residency - REALISTS, a
science fiction piece about creating community in the midst of horrible,
horrible things. Just finished a great 2-week residency working with
students at Genesee Community College, Batavia, NY, creating a show
performed improvisationally last Fri/Sat - a rural two-year school with a
warm ambience and a bunch of vivid, memorable students. Ten days to create
a show from absolute scratch and knock the audience's eyebrows off - a
damned wonderful experience.

And now - hallelooya! - heading home!

Peace & joy-
Conrad
