RAT Bush buys Nader TV Ad

Check it out:

In today's Wall Street Journal, Monday October 30. Page A32, in Nicholas
Kulish's column "The Home Stretch":

TOOTH AND NAIL: Political advertising continued to toughen up as the
Republican Leadership Council unveiled an ad featuring Ralph Nader
criticizing Al Gore, without even mentioning George W. Bush. The spot will
air in Washington, Oregon, and Wisconsin, where Nader voters could swing the
electoral vote to Mr. Bush.

I guess this is not one of those internet rumors. It is not just scare
tactics. Bush forces create a Nader ad, use it to attack Gore, and never
once mention Bush. Please folks, remember how ruthless the Republicans are,
and have been. Lynn Cheney, wife of the VP candidate, served as the chair of
the National Endowment for the Humanities under the other George Bush, from
which position she tried to eliminate the agency. Think about Jesse Helms,
Strom Thurmond, Trent Lott, Phil Gramm, Dick Armey and all the rest of that
bunch, and think how much fun they'll have with a Republican in the White
House again. Think about Jerry Falwell and James Dobson and Donald Wildmon
and Ralph Reed, and just guess who they want to see elected President.

I like Ralph Nader, and I agree with much of what he stands for, but I'm
terrified of George W. Bush, who will be another friendly communicator,
another Reagan-like mouth-piece for the worst forces in America, the worst of
corporate power, the forces of intolerance and hatred and bigotry. I live in
Pennsylvania, and I'm voting for Al Gore. He's not as entertaining as Bill
Clinton has been, but he's our only chance right now to keep the Republicans
at bay.
