ELECTION 2000:
CHOOSE AND LOSE
Election night 2000 is NO TIME to be alone. Americans are less excited than ever about the electoral process. You could sit home in a cough syrup-induced stupor, remote control in hand, watching Bob Newhart reruns on cable and trying desperately to avoid the inevitable, depressing, election returns. Or, you can share your apathetic ennui with others. Put away all your sharp objects and come out among the living for a night of music, theatre, poetry, stump speeches, election returns and more. There's also a planned appearance by one of Minnesota's Senate candidates. Sure, you could stay home and wallow in self-pity. But let’s face it, you’ve got four long years ahead of you for that! |
