     Dear friend of the arts,
     My name is Chris Wells, and it is with great excitement that I
     announce  the return of LIBERTY!
     Are you looking for that perfect pre-election entertainment?
     Or does that sound like an oxymoron?
     LIBERTY! The story of a big green statue and the boy who loves her.
     Are you interested in the political/personal discourse coming in from
     the cold and back to the warm bosom of the American theatre?
     LIBERTY! is a raucous, fast, furious fable for adults which looks at
     the idea of Liberty in America today.
     Developed at the Actors' Gang and seen in several cities around the
     country, LIBERTY! returns to LA for one weekend only at the World famous
     Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica. The dates are 
     Sept 28-Oct 1
     and all shows are at 8:30 (sophisticated). Tickets are $12 (so cheap).
     I invite all of you to attend this show, which has been called "...a
     tour de force," another critic said Liberty! is, "A subject worthy of 
Wells'
     muse..." and  still another wrote, "In Wells' hands, Liberty is...nothing
     more and nothing less than the greatest gift of the imagination." Nice,
     huh?
