Getting Nader and the Reform Party candidate(s) in on debates sounds grand and
even potentially productive/informative, by all means sign the petitions.

As far as the general election goes, though, I think you've gotta bottom line
it: democrats vs. republicans.  The democrats may manifest as Gore and co.,
admittedly conservative by my measure, but along with them come a range of
cabinet ministers, staffers, and most importantly judicial appointees, to say
nothing of potential coattail action.  Imagine those same positions filled by
Bush and his Iron Triangle.  There IS a difference.

Albert Gore is not my hero (did you see his HAIR on the front of the NYTimes
today?? It lent a lot of credence to recent rat postings attacking him), and I
have misgivings about ol' Tipper and perhaps Mr. Lieberman as well...but a vote
for Nader is a vote for Bush, plain and simple, and I fear for our one nation,
under the republicans, much moreso than under the dem's.
