Re: RAT New York shows
Many RATs are in town this month. Almost as many as the great
RatFest(ation) of '97.
I dropped in on tech rehearsal for Coaticock at the Ohio Theatre last
night. The Undermain is doing the play this week as part of Soho Think
Tank's Ice Factory Festival. I was up in the lighting booth with Kat and
Bruce checking out the amazing real time computer interaction that will be
going on during the play. Big screen projection the full height and width
of the playing space. It all looks very big and fun. I'll be there
Saturday night.

The Undermain are also at the Living Room series at HERE at the end of the
month with Erik Ehn piece.
GOLD INTO MUD
A giant reverses the alchemical process. The spirit of Patti Page midwifes
the birth of a mermaid, while men with pneumatic tools perform mysterious
transformations. Gypsies, Trolls, the Sun and Moon, and even sardines are
some of the characters that populate the landscape.
All fans of the legendary Carlos should make this piece.
