     Clowns et al take note. A missive from out allies in magdalena.

Dear Friends,

Some of you may remember me from the Raw Visions Festival, where I
performed my outdoor solo, Rogue Angel and performed with a ukulele in
the cabaret.  I have recently formed a company with a colleague, Jenny
Sanderson, and am directing her in a in a full-length indoor solo show
called The Dodo Diaries.  The company is called Bocadalupa and the show
will be available for touring from February 2001.  Wešre asking the
Magdalena community for leads for venues and festivals that may be
interested in presenting the work.

The Dodo Diaries

We want to tell you about the Dodo Diaries.
We want to tell you how the mysterious death of a Victorian lady
explorer revealed itself to us from these dusty leather cracked volumes,
found after years of neglect.
Wešd like to say that the diaries contain the truth but the truth is
often elusive.

In the seconds before certain death it is said that time expands.  It is
in this moment that our story unfolds.

Bocadalupa is a UK based international theatre company formed by Amy
Rose and Jenny Sanderson.  It draws from the spirit and craft of
contemporary clowning and physical theatre.  Bocadalupa create original
work that is dynamic and engaging.

the company and the artists.  We are in contact with South West Arts,
who have sent us a list of South West venues.  We feel that the show
