*****

"I'm not a donut, sir. I dance."

Got a taste for twisted comedy and tongue-defying theatrics? Gitcher
booties on down to Seattle's Speakeasy Cafe Backroom, 2304 - 2nd Ave. in the
heart of Belltown, and
catch EasyBake, a new play by Wesley Middleton, directed by Anita
Montgomery. Presented by Artemis Productions & Allied Arts, EasyBake
features the talents of Cecelia Frye, Pauline Luppert, Michael McQuilken,
Nicole Pearson, & Raquel Rosen.

It's a big funny smart pink scrumptious feast, with luscious eye candy,
cherry-topped nightmares, lipstick-framed expletives, spicy dyke drama,
a seductive intruder, delicious bitchiness, ridiculous humor, freak
pregnancy stories, sweet birthday spankings, and magic dessert! Yum!

EasyBake was inspired by a box of creepy Betty Crocker recipe cards and
several years of behind-glass gyration at Seattle's Lusty Lady. The
play pushes past sex-work stereotypes to present the sharp, dark, and
often hilarious saga of four dancers in a larger-than-life peep show
world.

EasyBake runs June 8-11, 15-18, and 23-25 (note: no
Thursday show on the final weekend.) All shows are at 8 pm. Tickets
are $10 at the door, payable by cash or check. To make reservations,
call (206) 760-0870.

Don't miss this juicy new piece of theatre. It'll leave you begging for
seconds!
