Hi RATs!

On Tuesday, May 23 at 8pm,  Moving Arts will present a reading of SOUTHERN
BELLE, a play by Australian playwright Alana Valentine.

Based on the early life of Carson McCullers, SOUTHERN BELLE is an
insightful exploration of the nature of creativity and the yearning to
belong.  In a style that deftly employs humor and lyricism, the play traces
young Carson's adolescence in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia, and events
leading up to her literary success in New York City.

This reading is directed by Julie Briggs, and features Keith Brush, Frankie
Cohen, Carol Dougherty, Kimberly Glann, Rebecca Rasmussen, and Richard
Ruyle, with a special cameo appearance by Trey Nichols as Dippo the Pinhead.

The reading will be held at Moving Arts' mainstage at the Los Angeles
Theatre Center, Theatre 5C, 514 South Spring St. in downtown Los Angeles.
There is ample parking in the gated lot at 6th and Main.  Admission is
