Re: RAT Scabs and other wounds in need of healing

Right again, Jonathan (Dammit!)

And pooh on Mathyou for suggesting that "being right"
creates license for immoral tactics. A) Jonoh's
tactics are not immoral; not McCarthyistic. He has
clearly explained that point in earlier posts. B)
"being right" is the sorriest excuse for the sorriest
behavior human beings have ever perpetrated.

You're wrong, Mathyou. This is NOT war, it is action.
There's no need, and every need NOT to, engage in the
tactics of the opponent Establishment. SAG will win
this one on the merits of their argument and the
justice of their tactics. And-- most importantly-- by
hanging together and being smart.

BTW: calling someone a scab is not name-calling. You
earn the title "scab" with your actions, like
"jay-walker" or "traitor". You either are one or
you're not. I've scabbed Equity on occasions where I
thought Equity was unjust. I never shrank from the
term though. I scabbed, and I was a scab. No
argument. Perhaps this fellow who's scabbing SAG
feels a moral indignation of his own. Fine. But he's
still a scab.
