RAT Pie throwers of the world--Entarte!

I met people from this group when I was up in Montreal at the Symfolium.  
Their website is http://www.entartistes.ca

They are part of a group of international pie throwing politicos (some of
whom were responsible for the pie-ing of Bill Gates)

I absolutely LOVE the French word for pie thrower  ("entartiste")

Suspended Sentences in Pie Case

MONTREAL (AP) - Two men who threw cream pies at Intergovernmental Affairs
Minister Stephane Dion were convicted of assault and given six-month
suspended sentences.

Patrick Robert and Benoit Foisy admitted hurling the pies that struck Dion
in the face and neck, but said it was an act of political protest. They
argued at their one-day trial last month Dion was unhurt.

``They call it assault, we call it pie-throwing,'' said Robert, who wore a
red clown nose and white chef's coat and hat outside of the courtroom
Wednesday.

Dion testified at the trial he felt threatened by the attack and thought he
was the target of something more serious until the pies hit him.

Municipal court Judge Louis-Jacques Leger said Wednesday that Robert and
Foisy had criminal intentions when they threw the pies at Dion on May 7,
1999, at a Montreal soup kitchen.

Leger ruled Robert and Foisy also must each perform 50 hours of community
service work and have no further contact with Dion.

Robert and Foisy belong to a Montreal group that throws pies at people
believed to take themselves too seriously. Other targets have included actor
Sylvester Stallone, former Quebec Premier Jacques Parizeau, Montreal Mayor
Pierre Bourque and International Trade Minister Pierre Pettigrew.
