RAT street performers

Title: street performers
Hey all.
We're looking for street performers for the second annual International Performing Arts Festival for Youth  on May 20th on the gorgeous campus of USC.    Last year's festival drew over 1,000 people from all over LA.

These street performers will not be on an outdoor stage, but will be outdoors.   So more than a traditional piece of theatre, we're looking for characters (of all plays and periods), stilt-walkers, even visual artists to sketch folks.   A 3rd St. Promenade for Families.  There are also still tables for rent for only $15, if you want to display your theatre's brochures in the festival's "Theatre Row".   Chairs, if you want to man your tables, are $5 each.   We'll display your info for free if you do some type of 'festival street thing'.

Unfortuanately there is no budget for this gig, but it is a great opportunity for you to get the word out and find your audiences.   We are looking for Family-accessible performers (no radical political agit-prop work please).  This is not to say that it can't be sophisticated.  Afterall this festival hopes to highlight the wonderful theatre LA has to offer young audiences.  This year's festival hosts a very sophiticated  International theatrical collaboration between the electrifying Flemish Blauw Vier Theatre Company and the prestigious Seattle Children's Theatre.  (You'll all be invited to a special performance of this production of Cyrano, in the coming weeks)
