RAT CVR

Collective: Unconscious is a small art collective and theater on the lower
east side in NYC. Six months ago NY times and Village Voice for the most
part would not even list our events, let alone review them. Please support
RAT theater in NYC.

CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO extends for the 3rd time!

8pm @ Collective: Unconscious
145 Ludlow, between Stanton and Rivington
(F train to Delancy)
Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays
thru May 27th
$10 ticket price (212.254.5277 for reservations)

CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO is a live techno-thriller derived entirely from the
“black box” transcripts of six major real-life airline emergencies. Who are
these people we trust our lives to and what do they really do when things go
horribly wrong? The answers will surprise and inspire you.

                        CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO

...opened October 21st at the COLLECTIVE: UNCONSCIOUS- a 54 seat blackbox on
the Lower East Side. Due to overwhelming response from the press, aviation
community, and the general public, CVR is extending to run Thursdays,
Fridays, & Saturdays @ 8pm January 13th thru May 27th. Below the press and
aviation comments on CVR.

“Scripts don’t come any tauter than this...Riveting stuff-every time. Jamie
Mereness’s sound design is a symphony of catastrophe...this theatrical
documentary turns out to be inspired.”
				-Francine Russo, Village Voice

“...chillingly realistic...”
				 -Jesse Mckinley, New York Times

“It was about the triumph of the human spirit, and calm in the middle of
chaos…”
				-Colin Moynihan, New York Times

“No play presently running on New York stages can match the intensity of
this dramatic scene.”
				-Jason Zinoman, TimeOutNY

“CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO...does a very credible job of capturing the tension,
confusion, frustrations, fears and courage of the pilots and flight
attendants on the doomed flights...cast and crew, should be commended for
taking an obviously sensitive subject, with gobs of technical speak, and
portraying it in an accurate and gripping fashion.”
-Peter W. Yost, Pilot and Reviewer for Avweb
						    (www.avweb.com)

“CVR...provides a chilling glimpse into what really happens in the moments
before a plane goes down...relaxing is the last thing you will be doing at
this show.”
				 -Lynne Polvino, Shout Magazine

“One of this season’s most stunning new theatrical events.”
-Scott & Barbara Siegel, Show Business

“It may be the most intense drama playing in New York-you’ll leave exhausted
but thrilled.”
				   -Joshua Tanzer, off.off.off.com

“…unmatchably profound insight into what it is to be human.”
					       -Les Gutman, Curtain Up

““I hope things like this stage play will help to stop people forgetting
about the accident.””
—Kuniko Miyajima, a member of an association formed by the bereaved
families of the victims of the JAL crash
-Jake Ade, Yomiuri Shimbun National Paper of Japan

“CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO consists of 11 excellent actors bringing to life CVR
transcripts of words salvaged from the cockpit tapes of six fatal or
near-fatal airliner crashes...the show is so real, and so visceral...”
