concepts, interludes, and direction by Michael LeLand & Quick Fast and In A 
Hurry by Dennis Moritz directed by Michael LeLand, origami installation by 
Joe Spear, with original live music by Elliott Levin. Featuring members of 
the Theatre Double ensemble; Shelita Birchett, Sheila mar, Chanelle Benz, 
Wharton Track, and Peter Patrikios as "Gerry." Also featuring Doug Laurie, 
Tim Dalton, and Toure' Aziz.

Theatre Double is proud to revive Just the Boys, the first production that 
took the company to the Obie award-wining Nuyorican Poet's Cafe, in New York 
City. Theatre Double's Just The Boys and Quick, Fast, and In a Hurry by 
Dennis Moritz, Directed by Michael LeLand Origami Installation by Joe Spear, 
Music by Elliott Levin.

Just the Boys was created by Dennis Moritz and Michael LeLand combining 
previously published text and new material by Dennis Moritz with additional 
text and interludes created by Michael LeLand along with contributions from 
company actors including Shelita Birchett and Peter Patrikios.

Just The Boys is a modern theatrical pageant that loosely follows the story 
of Gerry (Peter Patrikios), a race car mechanic and former musician, who 
tries to stop 'playing the field' by settling down with Evelyn (Chanelle 
Benz), an artist. Gerry and Evelyn find their relationship assisted and 
impeded by Gerry's best friend Dave (Doug Laurie), Evelyn's friend Jody 
(Sheila mar), Gerry's fellow mechanics (Wharton Track and Toure' Aziz) and 
his former girlfriends (Shelita Birchett and Emanuella).
