Yes, Earl the Pearl played for the Houston Oilers.  We called them the 
Earlers back then.  Number 34.  His jersey at the University of Texas at 
Austin (my Alma Mater, hook 'em horns!) was 20.  It's retired.  In his honor. 
 He's from Tyler.  Him and Sandy Duncan.  Three eyes between them.  Roses 
come from Tyler too.  That was the good ol' days.  When Bum Phillips was 
coach.  Before he moved to New Orleans.  Bum became a Saint and the Oilers 
went to Hell.  Then that cocksucker Bud Adams took the Oilers to fucking 
Tennessee.  They can have the sombitch!  Hell, we got Davey Crockett from 
Tennessee.
