I think it was this equation that made Cornerstone Theatre Co.'s Caucasian
Chalk Circle in Watts a few years back so effective for me. Effective is
such an antiseptic word, isn't it? But we all sat in a nontraditional
theater space, all the people, and we all contributed to what happened
there.
