Well, okay, just to clarify ... after a quiet first couple of days on
the list, I opened my mailbox to find 30+ new messages.  What I feared
was something that had happened once on the theatrephilly listserv:
someone must have left on some sort of automated mail utility,
resulting in multiple automated mailings.  It didn't turn out to be
that bad, but I received an awful lot of redundant mail nonetheless. 
Mildly annoying, and virtually content-free.  

I was not, however, trying to insult or embarrass anyone, honestly, I
was just wondering aloud if a technical fix was in order.
