LOL = Laugh out loud. 

When I read something that actually makes me laugh out loud I like to let
people know. Those who know me know that actually getting me to laugh out
loud is not the hardest thing in the world to do.

When I laugh I do not make the sound "Lol!" but that sound is strange and
funny.

Other Geeky Initials

BRB = Be right back (bathroom break)
IMHO = In my humble opinion
ROTFLOL = Rolling on the floor laughing out loud.
ROTFLOLSHIPMP = Rolling on the floor laughing out loud so hard I pissed my
pants.(I made that one up)
